About the Journal
Journal of African Migrations is a Journal oriented towards the publication of quality papers that address the relevant and current migration dynamics in contemporary society. The Editors are inspired by the need to assemble well - researched papers and reviews which treat topical issues in diverse areas of Migration studies; and present them in an easily accessible form. Authors are strongly encouraged to employ a variety of theoretical and methodological tools developed within their different multi-disciplinary fields to solve basic and applied human, economic, and ecological problems evolving from migration dynamics.
Current Issue
Journal of African Migrations is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high quality papers which reflect findings from original field empirical research, exceptional theoretical studies, critical reviews of existing literature, position papers, book reviews as well as well articulated creative outputs that critically engage current knowledge in Migration Studies and which are capable of charting new courses for future research. This is a Special issue of the Journal that focuses on Fair recruitment and labour migration. The issue was Supported by ILO under the Fairway Project Nigeria: Support to Enhancing Fair Recruitment in Nigeria.
