ETUDE DES MARQUEURS CONVERSATIONNELS IGBO

Abstract

Conversational markers constitute one of the parts of speech of which its values are manifest during communication or interaction especially in a verbal situation. These conversational markers are also called interjections. Unfortunately, these interjections hardly receive attention despite their importance in communication. In this work, our focus is on the comparative study of igbo conversational markers and that of French to unravel this important and rich aspect of the igbo language. The work is being carried out using the descriptive and comparative approaches.

Les marqueurs conversationnels constituent l’une des parties de discours dont ses valeurs sont manifestes dans une communication ou interaction surtout au niveau oral. Ces marqueurs conversationnels sont aussi appelés les interjections. Malheureusement, ces interjections ne reçoivent guère l’attention malgré leur rôle dans la communication. Dans ce travail, il s’agit d’étude comparative des marqueurs conversationnels igbo et ceux du français afin de montrer cet aspect important et riche de la langue igbo. Le travail se réalise à travers la méthode descriptive et la méthode comparative.
