INFORMATION ABOUT THE MAIN EDITORS
- Editor in Chief:
John Agbo OGBODO, whose expertise is in 'Geospatial sciences for forest and natural resource surveying and management' lectures with the Department of Forestry/Wildlife at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Awka, Nigeria. He is currently a Ph.D. researcher (Remote sensing for land resources surveying) with the Department of Geoinformatics and Surveying, University of Nigeria. He holds an MSc. Degree in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation for Natural Resources Management from Faculty ITC, University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands (2013); and a Bachelor of Forestry, Wildlife and Rangeland Management from the then Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi-Nigeria (2005). Ir. Ogbodo is the Founding Director of the Sahelian Institute for Bamboo Research and Entrepreneurship Development (SIBRED) at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. He is a member of the prestigious International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Consortium; member, INBAR's Global Taskforce on Sustainable Bamboo Management; member, Ecological Society of Nigeria; and member, Association For Environmental Impact Assessment of Nigeria. John has published numerous articles in both Web of Science (Clarivate) and Scopus indexed journals. He would be the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Bamboo and Rattan (IJBAR); a member, of the Editorial Board, of the West African Journal of Sustainable Development, and Managing Editor, of UNIZIK's Book Series on Sustainable Development.
