Author Guidelines

Journal of Educational Management and Policy has two issues in one volume published annually. To this end, the call for papers is continuous.

The following should guide authors while preparing and submitting articles for publication in the Journal. Manuscripts to be submitted for publication in UJOEMP should:

  • Be typed on A4 paper size using Times New Roman Font size 12 and double line spacing.
  • Not exceed 15 pages including the abstract and references.
  • Be preceded by an abstract of not more than 250 words.
  • Have a separate title page containing title of paper, authors’ full names (surname first and in capitals) address(es), e-mail(s) and phone number(s).
  • References and in-text citations are to follow the latest APA style.
  • Tables to be numbered serially using Hindu-Arabic numerals e.g., Table 1, 2 and so on and should not flow over to a new page.

Manuscripts for publication should be submitted in triplicate together with a teller for payment of the prescribed review fee of N5000.00 to:

Soft copy of the manuscript after effecting corrections by reviewers should be submitted to the Editor–in–Chief, together with a CD containing the paper and the teller for the publication fee as stated on the Acceptance letter.  A soft copy of this corrected edition of the paper should also be forwarded to the Editor-in-Chief’s e-mail address as stated on the Acceptance letter.

There is no deadline for the submission of manuscripts. Manuscripts are reviewed as they are received. Information on the volume in which an accepted paper will be published will be specified on the Acceptance letter.

UNIZIK Journal of Educational Management and Policy [UJOEMP] takes concern of plagiarism very seriously. All manuscripts are checked for plagiarized passages prior to being accepted for publication. Authors should ensure that all information taken from outside sources is properly cited and that all thoughts are composed in the authors’ own words. All instances of plagiarism will be immediately returned to the authors for correction and may be cause for removal of the manuscript from the publication.
