Journal of Spatial Information Sciences is a quarterly publication of the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. The Journal focuses on the following areas of Spatial Information Sciences; Geographic Information Sciences, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Geodesy and Geodynamics, Hydrography, and hydrometry. The Editorial Board happily invites scholars and researchers all over the globe to submit their valuable manuscripts for publication in our reputable journal. JSIS is registered with ISSN (2354-3361).

Submit a soft copy (MS Word, font 12, Times New Roman) of your manuscript to the journal email address: [email protected] as follows:

  • Manuscripts submitted should be original and MUST NOT be under consideration elsewhere for publication. Submission should be in Times New Roman (Word document file),12 font size, and 1.5 line spacing not more than 12 pages.
  • The abstract should not be more than 200 words with a maximum of five (5)keywords.
  • Submission should be done in at least two files as follows:
    • A file containing the title of the manuscript, names of author(s), institutions, e-mail address(es), and phone number of corresponding authors.
    • A file of the blind manuscript (manuscript without author(s) information) for the reviewers.
  • APA 7th edition manual of writing should be strictly adhered to.
  • Manuscripts can be submitted via https://journals.unizik.edu.ng/jsis/submission/ submitted or in soft copy to: [email protected] with evidence of a vetting fee of ₦5000 payable to UBA, Account Name: JOURNAL OF SPATIAL INFORMATION SCIENCES, Account Number: 1027629146, Bank: United Bank of Africa (UBA)
  • On notification of acceptance of manuscript for publication, a publication fee of ₦25.000 will be paid into the same account details.
