About the Journal

It is with great pride and scholarly commitment that we present Maritime and Climate Change Review Journal—a platform dedicated to addressing the urgent and interwoven challenges of maritime sustainability, environmental management, and climate resilience, particularly within the African and global coastal contexts.

This journal emerges at a critical time when the maritime industry is under increasing pressure from climate-induced risks such as sea-level rise, extreme weather events, and ecosystem degradation. Likewise, environmental sectors are being called upon to adapt and innovate in response to accelerating changes in our planet’s climate systems.

Our mission is to provide a rigorous, interdisciplinary space for researchers, policy makers, and practitioners to share insights, propose solutions, and debate transformative ideas. The articles in this journal should reflect a spectrum of perspectives—from empirical coastal vulnerability assessments to explorations of green port innovations, marine spatial planning, new exploits in building technology, and climate policy integration.

As we embark on this scholarly voyage, we invite contributions that deepen understanding, challenge conventions, and inspire action toward a more sustainable maritime and environmental future.

Publication of this journal shall be quarterly and online. Only innovative, ground breaking articles that meet international standards shall be published after blind peer review.
