Author Guidelines

Submission Guidelines
1. Manuscripts submitted should be original and must not be under consideration elsewhere for publication. Submission should be in Times New Roman (Word document file), 12 font size and 1.5 line spacing not more than 12 pages including the references.

2. Abstracts should not be more than 200 words with a maximum of five(5) keywords.

3. The article could be empirical (containing Abstract, Introduction, Literature review, Methodology, Discussion of Results, Conclusion and Recommendation) OR Theoretical (opinion paper) with suitable theme.

4. Submissions should be done using Microsoft Word in at least two files.

A. A file containing title of the manuscript, names of authors, institution, e-mail address and phone number of corresponding author.

B. A file of the blind manuscript (manuscript without authors’ information) for the reviewers.

5. Tables and figures must be numbered and labeled.

6. Permission must have been obtained from the relevant authorities to publish all photos, datasets and other materials provided with the submission.

7. All references must follow APA (American Psychological Association) style. APA 6th or 7th Edition may be used. The two editions shall not be used in a single manuscript simultaneously. Authors are advised to be consistent. References must be listed at the end of the paper in alphabetical order. Authors should ensure that every reference in the text appears in the list of references and vice versa.

8. All submissions should be done electronically to the e-mail address at [email protected] with evidence of payment of N5,000.00 or $10 for the review.

9. On notification of acceptance of manuscript for publication, a publication fee of N20,000.00 or $50 will be paid into the Journal Account details.

10. Manuscripts must meet the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

11. UJBEE publishes any manuscript that meets its requirements after reviewers’ corrections online anytime.

12. UJBEE is indexed in Google Scholar.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

·         Ensure that the submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

·         Ensure that the submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.

·         Ensure that all references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

·         Ensure that all tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.

·         Ensure that permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with the submission.
