Abstract

Analytical and statistical methods are used to find a mathematical model that plausibly may connect cosmic
expansion, and expansions of some intergalactic radio components (such as the extragalactic radio jets and
lobes of some radio galaxies). These are done by carrying out some regression analyses on some measurable
parameters of the more extended radio galaxies, as well as, on their more compact counterparts. Results of
the size/redshift data for the more extended doubles indicate that these sources expand in size as cosmic
expansion advances with time.
