Author Guidelines

Submission Guidelines
1. Manuscripts submitted should be original and must not be under consideration elsewhere for publication. Submission should be in Times New Roman (Word document file), 12 font size and 1.5 line spacing not more than 12 pages including the references.

2. Abstracts should not be more than 200 words with a maximum of five(5) keywords.

3. The article could be empirical (containing Abstract, Introduction, Literature review, Methodology, Discussion of Results, Conclusion and Recommendations) OR Theoretical (opinion paper) with suitable theme.

4. Submissions should be done using Microsoft Word in at least two files.

A. A file containing title of the manuscript, names of authors, institution, e-mail address and phone number of corresponding author.

B. A file of the blind manuscript (manuscript without authors’ information) for the reviewers.

5. Tables and figures must be numbered and labeled.

6. Permission must have been obtained from the relevant authorities to publish all photos, datasets and other materials provided with the submission.

7. UJET takes concerns of plagiarism very seriously. Authors should ensure that all information taken from outside sources are properly cited and that all thoughts are composed in the authors’ own words. All instances of plagiarism will be immediately returned to the authors and can cause removal of the manuscript from the publication.

8. All references must follow APA (American Psychological Association) style. APA 6th or 7th Edition may be used. The two editions shall not be used in a single manuscript simultaneously. Authors are advised to be consistent. References must be listed at the end of the paper in alphabetical order. Authors should ensure that every reference in the text appears in the list of references and vice versa.

9. Submissions can be done online or through the e-mail address [email protected] for double-blind peer review.

10. Only those submissions accepted will be published online.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

·         Ensure the submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

·         Ensure the submission has not been previously published, or before another journal for consideration.

·         Ensure that all references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

·         Ensure that all tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.

·         Ensure that permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with the submission.

Unizik Journal of Education and Technology (UJET) is a publication in the Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. It accepts and publishes high quality research outputs in all areas of Education and Technology.  It is a peer review and multidisciplinary Journal which aims at reporting and communicating current issues and problems of major concern in Education and Technology globally.
