FAUT-IL UNE FORMATION POUR INTERPRETER AU NIGERIA ?

Abstract

Interpreting and the ability to pass messages effectively are very important. If kings and queens can be born, can interpreters be born as well? The aim of our article is to answer the question people often ask: Does one need training to interpret? The reflections provided by Eugène Nida and Bariki among others have greatly enriched the field. Inspite of different opinions, our article maintains that training highly demanded in advanced countries is never useless. From our participation in Deeper life Camp Ogboro, Oyo State in April 2023, our discovery will show that there are many Interpreters in Nigeria who are quite good in interpreting without any formal
training. Finally, we are going to lay emphasis on the great advantages one stands to gain from necessary training.

Interpréter et le fait de transmettre des messages sont importants. Si on peut naître roi ou reine, est-ce qu’on peut naître interprète ? Le but de notre article c’est de répondre à la question que posent souvent les gens: Faut-il être formé pour interpréter? Les réflexions fournies par Eugene Nida et Bariki, entre autres ont bien enrichi le domaine. Malgré les avis différents, notre article souligne que la formation qui est très exigée dans les pays avancés n’est jamais inutile. De notre participation dans les activités de Deeper Life Camp Ogboro, Oyo State en Avril 2023, notre découverte montrera qu’il y a plusieurs Interprètes au Nigeria qui interprètent bien sans avoir
subi de formation. Finalement, nous allons mettre l’emphase sur les grands avantages de formation.
