Archiving and preservation Policy

ARCHIVING AND PRESERVATION

Long-Term Digital Preservation
The Journal of Current Biomedical Research (JCBR) ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content.
JCBR participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides free preservation services for any journal using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Through PKP PN, all published articles are securely archived in a distributed network of preservation partners, ensuring continued access even in the event of technical failure.

Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their manuscripts in institutional or subject repositories, including:
- Pre-print (submitted version before peer review),
- Post-print (accepted manuscript after peer review), and
- Version of Record (the final published article with DOI).
There is no embargo period. Authors should always include the article DOI and citation to the Version of Record.

License and Reuse
All JCBR articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows use, sharing, adaptation, distribution, and reproduction in any medium or format, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.
